Resistance welding machines
ERI designs and manufactures 2 types of resistance welding machines: spot welding machines and seam welding machines.
ERI designs automatic machines to weld, either on board LNG carriers or in prefabrication, assemblies of INVAR sheets which total thickness rises up to 4.5mm. The spot welding machines allow maintaining INVAR sheets in position before welding with the seam welding machine.

The seam welding machines permit to carry out a perfect weld core which guarantees the total sealing of INVAR membranes of the LNG carrier which carries liquefied gas at -163°C.
